A Chalbi Desert safari is one of those once-in-a-lifetime experiences. It takes you to the untamed north, where it’s windy, sandy, and sunny. You wake up to dunes and sleep to the eerie sounds of the desert.
When you combine a trip to the Chalbi Desert with a tour of Lake Turkana, you experience more activities, such as swimming in the lake, mingling with diverse northern communities, and swimming in a natural rock pool.
Here’s what to expect.
